: Ford 9" Guardsman is ready to go wheelin!
DIY4X 05-25-2006, 07:05 AM OK, we finally got this one done.
Here are a few pics and some info about this piece of armor.
The whole thing is constructed of 1/2" thick material and CNC cut for a precise fit. As seen in the photos we mill the skid plate to provide a nice fit and to create a stronger joint. It come supplied with the required Grade 8.2 flanged serrated bolts.
You won't find a stronger pinion guard anywhere to my knowledge. These are built to withstand sharp impacts.
Save your expensive driveshafts and yokes!
These are priced the same as our popular 14BFF Guardsman.

Buckon37s 12-26-2008, 08:13 PM How much distance is between the yoke and the bottom of the guard? Just trying to figure out how much clearance you lose. I may get one of these!

3 3/4" from center of yoke give or take a smidge. It's a nice chunk of piece of mind!

If not what do you recommend?
Is there a special tool to take off the Ford bolts?

It does come with hardware. Ford bolts shouldn't need anything special.
