$5 off the normal price for 2 isn't a sale, its a small discount. Thats why we have a sale only one time a year and its a real sale!

Ruffstuff Specialties was founded 28 years ago (by me) to work steel. Yes, we made custom bicycle framesets back then and I still make a special order bike every couple of years for an old customer.

But the point is we have been around this block before. We don't do this part-time, we do understand business ups and downs and have seen more than a few. This one we are in is a big one but if you didn't see this one coming you shouldn't have been in business in the first place!

If you are concerned about the viability of a company ask! Ask the hundreds of guys that stop by the shop every month about how full our shelves are, ask them about the 6-7 people working welding or stuffing boxes all day, ask them about how high the stack of boxes by the door gets by the end of the day.

One thing I do know is when a company needs to start rumors right in thier sig line you should look somewhere else because thats the guy on the edge and its just dirty business and they are reaching for straws.

It really should be one of the easier ones and the first prototype was just a tad off but we are very busy and dedicating time to new covers is challenging.

what are the chances of having a D60 Front and a D80 Dually Rear made for my 2002 F350 Dually? i like these and would like a set made to replace my mag-hytecs.:grinpimp:

This thread needs more pichers! Come on people, post more shots of what these look like installed. I will be getting a set of these in about a month and will definitely post up pics.

One question, I have a poly performance D44 rear truss that has a support ring built into the diff. I think it is 1/4" thick. I think I would need extra long hardware. I had to buy longer hardware when I first installed it with the stock cover (those bolt holes are kinda shallow). Not a huge deal, but could you supply longer bolts or would I have to find them?

Bad pic of the truss but you get the idea:

But is that a seam accross the ring? Looks like it would easily leak?

But is that a seam accross the ring? Looks like it would easily leak?

Yeah it came as two pieces. I think they do it that way because it would waste a lot of metal to cut it out as a solid ring? Probably cheaper that way. I beveled it, welded it and ground it flat. I dunno if that is what you're supposed to do, but it is one solid ring now. Much better.

Gravel Maker

Yes, we can fit 2 diff covers in 1 flat rate box and you don't have to call to be sure about that either. We have been using the flat rate boxes for a very long time and I know what fits! Its automatic when you check out, $11.50 ships 2 diff covers so when you are measuring prices from one vender to the next be sure to add it all up, not over $20 to ship 1 cover but $11.50 to ship 2 covers.....

Gravel Maker

And all of them good:p Some people just blindly buy things and then some (Pirate Customers) have the sense to check shipping cost before buying anything.....Our shipping costs' get the best ratings, not jacked up so someone can profit through shipping discounts or blatantly high. Our shipping costs' have always been fair.

A D60 after the Pirate discount (10%) is $99 and thats machined flat and welded inside and out.....3/8" thick, just strength and function....BTW, shipping is fair too, $11.50 for up to 2 covers anywhere in the US or territories, $20 each to Canada.......

The new space is huge, twice the shipping area, 3 more welding stations, 2 more lifts(Faster prototyping).....

Thursday we closed in the entire shipping area and added A/C so all the packing folks are happy. The office is upstairs and also has A/C (I like a/c!) We finished moving the inventory today (5 - 26" Penske trucks full) and got it on the shelves. Tommorrow we start on the big stuff but we are ready for Monday! A day early by my estimate.....
