Who is running these under their crusier? How do you like them? What don't you like about them? I am asking these questions because I have finally come to the conclusion that I need them ( 60's), toyota axles are good but I want the best. I think the full width looks cool and will work better with the ride hight im going to give my cruiser. :)

I run full with dana 60s. I shaved the rear and put 35 spline all the way around with a spool in the back and a detroit up front. Just added the BTF dif covers because I had beat the others out so may times that I was afraid they might explode.

I also run the Hummer beadlocks with a 5" offset. I make short life of hubs but will fit on my 83"wide trailer and the truck does well on tight trails...

Very happy with the set up..

I ran full width 60 and 14 bolt on my FJ60 with 40" swampers, I did not want to be too wide so I ran 5 inch backspaced wheels, for a total of 83" total stance, in the front about 2 inches narrower in the rear with the 14 bolt.
My FJ40 has full width 60's and 5.5 inch backspace wheels; it’s a good stance for a true trail rig.
What I don’t like about them... Nothing, I have been wheeling on one tons for about 3 years now and I am yet to break a shaft or u joint. I do run 1410 yokes and 35 spline outers. Back in my yota axle days I broke a shit load of birfs and once longs came out I started breaking hubs, and inners. I would not trade my Full width 60s for nothing.

I think it depends a lot on what you run for springs. If you stick with leafs, outboard them, and then run a wheel with a large B.S. in order to slim down the stance, then you may run into issues with steering (tires hitting the springs at full steer). IMO the full-width axles work best with a linked setup. So, like Justin said, show and tell us what you have planned.

Do you guys drive yours on the road? Are they street legal? I have seen a couple of cruisers from the guys in the club rock zombies that have the leaf spring set up with the full width axles. That is where I pretty much came up with the idea of running a fullwidth set up. If you have pics of your rig can you show me so I can get some ideas of a set up? :D
