Read some talk on a previous post about lowering the gear ratio on a th350. Where would i go to buy a kit that is not a hunk of shit? Running a 205 and soon to be 5.13 gears. Just want to see what my options are.

When I looked into it a few years ago, it was cheaper to get a TH700 built HD than to get a 350 built HD with the lower gear set...I think the first gear alone was like $1200...maybe cheaper now, but if it's for the scout you might want to compare the options of the TH400, I know you have the room and don't need the overdrive of the 700.... and the 400's can be bulletproofed just as cheap as the 350's and I think they have a lower gear to start with don't they?

Yeah, i thought about that but was interested in the lower for the th350 cause i already have one. I'm not trying to build a whole new rig here, just modify beyond recognition. Thanks Pete!

Nope the TH350 has the lower gears in stock form...I dont remember where they were but a lower gearset was only a couple hundred...someone should know:D

I seem to remember hearing someplace that you can take the 1st gearset out of a 700R and put it in a 350.
