Hi,
I'm currently in the progress of doing a SOA with 2.5" springs and 3/4 ton full width Chevy axles on my CJ. Just wondering what the best method of controlling axle wrap would be... track bars... link setups.. etc. I have a few ideas but I was wondering what you guys with similar setups as I'm building are using and how there working out.. Thanks TJ

And if the search on POR doesn't yield a result search for John Nutter's write-up on anti-axle wrap devices on www.outdoorwire.com

Does anyone who recommends the search feature actualy use it:flipoff2:

I've built every damn kind of system you can think of (for use w/ leaf springs) and the best design I am currently using on the rigs I build is a ladder bar style unit. It has 2 points on the axle (top and bottom or front) and 1 point at a crossmember under the rear t-case out put. (varies a bit due to length or vehicle and such) the upper mount must be a raduis arm style bushing passing through a hole in a 1/4 - 3/8" thick plate preloaded for normal up travel but unrestricted down travel.

If you want one fabbed up I can take some measurements or specs from your rig and use one over here as a template. then you can just weld it in.

I used to be from Plainville MA. It was trippy looking at those trip pics on your site because I've been to many of those places :D

This post is about wrap bars and I saw you on here so I figured I say something about them.

I will be ready to fab mine up come about early to mid may, depending on the tax return, Once I get the 35's on there and take some lift out I will reset the pinion angle and I will be ready to fire up the Buzz Box for the wrap bar.

Sound good to you?

$225 no crossmember. and I need really exacting measurements. to the point that if it doesn't work out it's not my fault :D
