Yeah that's pretty much the plan. I'm hoping to be running in the 12's by the end of this season. If not then by next year for sure. :cool2:

paul. maybe some reasoning with you. when you go race your stang you get what maybe 12 seconds of fun and if you are really good 11 seconds. see the more money you spent on a drag car the shorter amount of time you get to drive where as the more money you spend on a trail rig the less it breaks and the more you get to drive. make sence. and if that is not a good enuff reason just build the cj2 to run 12's. think about it. a blown small block on the bottle will get ya there and doing burnouts with 60's front and rear smoking 4 big slicks would be cool. then just bolt on the swampers and go crawling. :D

Well it's not like I am getting out of wheelin'. I still have the Explorer and it will soon have a crawler box. I just figured I wanted to work on my car that I have owned for 11 years. You just don't get rid of an old friend like that. ;) I've only had the Willys for 3 months.
