Oh mercy, this thing is beautiful!
I just bought the Snap-On electronic torque wrench (TECH3FR250) and it is amazing.
The damn thing vibrates and beeps when you reach the specified torque.

Guy I worked with @ a shop had one. Very nice torque wrench, and even after it beeped and buzzed, it shows you the ACTUAL torque you gave the bolt. So if you set it at 100ft.lbs, you might actually hit it at 101.3 or something.

Still, not worth the $$$ to me unless I was doing a lot of precision engine work.

If you think those are cool, you are really going to want one of these Angle Tech Wrench (http://image.snapon.com/international/pdf/atech2fr100Etc.pdf) Most cars today are torque to yield for head bolts and that is what these are designed for. If I still worked on cars for a living, one of these would be sitting in my toolbox.

ya they are very nice, i bought the 1/4, 3/8,and1/2 one from my dealer and got a really nice padded case to keep them in . Takes a little bit to get used to not having a positive indicator like my click type.

Nope. Our dealer showed us that TW about 4 months ago, and thats what I asked him. I dont remember exactly but I think the electronics are warrantied for only 90 days. At any rate, No they are not life time
