Anyone have any good ideas or junkyard tech on how to convert from the relay rod to a hydraulic clutch system?

wilwood master cylinder and CNC slave, about $165 for the whole deal, and I have used both types and they worked well.

Master Cylinder (http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/aspx/display_id.1379/itemNo.master+cylinder/qx/Product.htm)

Push type slave (http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/aspx/display_id.1944/itemNo.slave/qx/Product.htm)

Pull Type Slave (http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/aspx/display_id.783/itemNo.slave/qx/Product.htm)

Pedal (http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/aspx/display_id.1387/itemNo.pedal/qx/Product.htm)

Another option would be a Post 1980 SWB slave and any of the ford hydraulic bells, or find a vehichle with an external slave like 4th gen camaro and adapt that.

I used the Dodge clutch m/c on my conversion. I welded a piece of plate on the side of the pedal assembly. I cut a more or less square hole for the clutch slave. The rod was attached to a bracket welded onto the clutch pedal.

It appears to me that that the Ford and Dodge clutch m/c's and slaves are mix and matchable to fit your application. I have pictures of what I did on both fordtrucks and turbodieselregister.com

I used a Wilwood master cylinder and some kind of a Chevy slave cylinder. I don't remember the exact application of the slave, sorry. Made a bracket for the slave and bolted the master to the firewall, which was kind of spongy there so I welded a strap to it next to the MC.

On my buddies, he just built a bracket similar to the 80's hydro clutch setup, and bolted it to the bellhousing bolts. This way it uses all stock 86' ford parts.

I needed pics....thanks.

Since I am dealing with an FE I doubt there are any factory bellhousings that are set up for hyrdo. I am just going to have to make a bracket. Most anything is better than the factory setup in my truck these days.
