Hi. Im new here, from explorerforum, and was reffered to you guys by a member there. Anyways my question is as follows.

I bought a 4406 t-case from a non superduty f-250. The vss on those trucks read from the rear axle and not from the case. Is there a way i can deal with this. Is there a tone ring in the 4406 where the flat spot is. A memeber off explorerforum told me people put tone rings on the ass end of the case. Pretty much i dont know what to do.

you can put a tone ring on the yoke.

I searched around and found something like that, but i wheel through some nasty mud...i doubt the sensr will like it. Also i wheel on rocks and some extreme trails..i doubt that ring would last long when you come to think about it. On my other forum, they suggested that i pull the rear housing of the case and see if theres a tone ring, then drill it out. Thing is how do i pull the rear housing off? Just unbolt down the midfdle of the case and pull up?

Swap to full widths and use a 10.25 (10.5), You know you want a 60 front...
