So I have a 90 XJ with a shot 4.0, and a great running 258 from a 76 J10. I've read that the head from the 4.0 will bolt onto the 258 with minor difficulty (water jackets possibly slightly off and may have to be filled in). The question, will the accesory brackets transfer from the 4.0 to the 258? Will the block actually bolt into the XJ? I would just rob parts from the 258 and stroke the 4.0, but money is a real factor here.
