Head count? Who all is going? My dad and I are headed in thursday night. :D I know of 4-5 other sammis + a couple of other rigs that will be there as well.

Not to put a damper on the weekend but the Poker run is this weekend. It is going to be full of heaps. But I wish I could go but I will go the next weekend.

rx4x4 you should move your 10th trip to that weekend, its a blast...we should still try to meet up, I,ve got a few friends up here that run that week end(sammy run) every year.
(altough this year they are also planing a fathers day run the weekend before)

I'll be there on the 22nd with at least one other zuk. We are also bringing along a jeep to give every one something to laugh at.:laughing: We will be leaving at 5 in the morning. I talked to Brent today, he said to go to Buck Island.

How do I get more info on this run? Cost? Map? etc...

I have been wheeling on my own or with a friend for about 3 years and would like to do something like this. How "built" does a vehicle have to be to be able to participate? I do have a locker but it isn't installed and I have no idea how to do it as well as my living in an apartment complex really limits my ability to be able to do anything on it here.

Since my back surgery in Feb I have been cooped up in my place and this last week finally got in the Sammy and been driving it around some. Feels great! I would like to go to something like this just to see all of the other vehicles and meet other Sammy guys.

I did the Rubicon on 31's and no lockers when I first started. It wasn't easy but it was doable. I wouldn't do it again without 33's and a rear locker minimum.
Just hook up with someone at Loon Lake entrance and follow them in to Bucks. Bring plenty of drinking water and a good tent/sleeping bag. There are no amenities on the 'Con.
Run doesn't cost anything. Trail Tough will provide a steak dinner on Friday or Saturday night (I think). Brent, Linda?

The zuk is still in parts in the garage, so this will be the second year in a row I'll miss this run.

Got 2 questions; 1. is there anyone in the Sac area that can help me install a locker? I am free almost any time. I have the locker brand new in the box but am limited on tools and can't work on it here in my apartment complex.

2. Where is the search button? I looked for it but couldn't find it for some questions that I have.
