View Full Version : Any plans to add the 3.0 & 3.4L to FormulaToy?

It would really open the class to more people if more Toyota engines were allowed such as the newer 2.4 & 2.7 4 cyl & 3.0 & 3.4 V6. With the naturally aspirated rule horsepower numbers shouldn't get be a problem.

considering your completely rebuilding the truck anyways, i dont see where it would be a problem just to start out with a 22re truck in the first place. You open it up like that and its going to completely ruin the class. If you want to run things like that go run in pro mod or stock mod

Exactly...and you can mod a 22re and open it up for more flow anyways..

You are welcome to put what ever motor you want in it. As far as the competition class goes, the above motors will never be allowed.

Bs, like the people bitching about efi... as far as I know the class hasn't exploded since they allowed it.

As the rules are now, and to minimize breakage I cannot see opening up for more powerful, later engines. 3.4's will break these diffs like popcorn in comp.
Pretend toyota went out of business in 95, and you only have those parts to work with.
