1995 geo tracker with, I believe, anti-lock brakes. My brakes have locked up. The vehicle has set for about a week & will start & shift into all gears, I can feel engagement, but will not move. It is not the parking brake, as I have raised the vehicle and the front wheels will not turn. This has to be related to the hydraulic system. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone have opinions on this? The brake pedal operates normally and returns. The dashboard brake light remains on until brake pedal is depressed, when released, it comes back on. Could this be a master cylinder or an electronic issue (no codes). As always, thank you for your opinions and suggestions.

wow, thats an odd one. have you taken the wheel off to attempt removing the caliper? all 4 locked or just the front? where are you located?

RWAL (it's not true ABS) equipped trac/kicks have a seperate comp for the RWAL ... unplug it.

The RWAL system when "functioning" is IMO worthless anyhow ... The RWAL computer will be a black box just in front of the brake pedal (the ECM is mounted off to the side and typically an AU colored box).

The "disabling" of the RWAL on my trac has had absolutely ZERO effect on it's stopping distance in ANY conditions ...

you sure it's not the tcase that's "frozen"?

One last thing ... if you DONT have RWAL, you WILL have a LSPV (load sensing proportional valve) that is activated via a spring to the rear diff. I guess, it's possible that the LPSV could get "munged" and possibly cause the brakes to "lock" ... dunno tho never heard of that ...

All four wheels are locked. I,m in Ohio. I will check for the RWAL/LPSV. Transfer case operates, but I haven't tried to get it into neutral yet, I'll try that when I get home tonight. Thanks for everyones help.
