Cummins swap in a F-450

[Red Chevy]

I have a friend with a 99' F-450 powerstroke tow/farm truck. The 7.3 is about shot with well over 350,000 on the ticker. Has any one swapped in an early 12V cummins in a superduty. Does any one make a conversion packeage for this?

If he wants to keep the Ford transmission, the only place he can go to get a bellhousing adapter is www.fordcummins.com I used them, and the adapter is nice, pricey, but nice. Everything else he can probably fab himself to make things work. Ive got a 96 12V in my 99 F350. It has worked out well so far.....
