I have a complete P/S setup from a yota. i am pretty sure it came out of a 2wd truck. Ive searched around for pictures of mounting the box and pump in my sammy but they arent very detailed. The boxes that i see in the pics are different than the one i have. My box has 2 mounting bolts on the side of it and one on the top of it. The others ones im seeing have 3 bolts on the side and none on top. Will it work for my sammy or do i need a different one? Does anyone have pics of how they mounted the yota pump and belt tensioner on the 1.3? TIA

It will work. You just have to fab a mount for both.
I just mounted the pump and with a home brewed bracket. I cut slots in the braket to tighten the belt. It works great. It took me 2 hrs to make the bracket.

so your using the actual pump as the belt tensioner? kinda like the alternator where you push back on it and tighten a bolt to hold it there right? thats what i was thinking about doin, just didnt know if that would be ok. will the box work ok with the kind of mounting locations i got?

Basically what I did. I plated my frame for my steering box, and made a mount for my pump out of the left over steel....lol
Booty fab, but it's working great and P/S is oh so nice with 36" swampers and a front locker.

RRO sells a bracket for the power steering pump. But it is easy enough to make yourself. I use the pump to tighten the belt like an alternator. All the brackets that I have seen work in the same manner. On the side of the engine where the header is, there should be holes drilled and tapped in the block where you can bolt the P/S bracket to. You will need a double row pulley on your crankshaft so that you can run it. Make sure you have that first because they can cost $50 from TT. I took one off of a pre 88.5 sammy and got a P/S pulley from a camry.
I do not have pics but I just used a kick steering box and sold my toy IFS box to my buddy that needed it for his toy truck.
