Anyone ridden there? Wheeling looks awesome and from the pics being posted, you can see some trails that look like they were made by bikes. Is it worth the drive from Slac Valley for a day of riding?

Just picked up an 06 CRF450r and I'm dying to ride it. But the fawking state of california says no...and they gave me a red sticker. :mad3:

thanks

I've only been there twice but it is a lot of fun on a bike so yes it would be worth it. Pictures don't do the place justice.

All kinds of riding ops around moon rocks- if you go, go exploring in every direction.

You know where you should hit up is Peavine Mtn. take 80 to 395 north go to Redrock and its the big peak you'll see on the left(cant miss it) Ive ridden out there for 3 years straight and havent hit all the trails yet, Its better riding than MR, its got everything from desert to aspen groves, you can access it from the 80 side also but not sure where the best location would be,but hey its Nevada,If its Dirt you can ride it

awesome! Thanks for the suggestion, I've never even heard of that place.

How is it for beginners? I'm teaching the wifey how to ride, she's only ridden a couple times. Are there any trails I could take her on?

From my side there is one little climb that might be a little sketchy for a first timer but after that its as mellow as you want it to be

Can also head to Stonyford (and Middle Creek) - IIRC it's open to red sticker bikes all year.

I'd go..its worth it.
There is open desert rode to baja down and two tracks that I know of that are pretty fun. A couple hill climbs near the rocks and a badass single track that goes up the mountain and along the ridges eventually leading to the larger mx track.
