3.0 toyota dist. dissasembly

we put a 3.0 from a unknown year pickup in the 93 4 runner. the new motor runs great but the two distributers are different. the dist. from the 93 has a short shaft at the bottom and the other has a long shaft. the prob is that they have different plugs. on the dist. with the wrong plug/correct shaft, the plug is cast into the housing.


long story short, how do i remove the shaft?
