dose anyone know if there is one or two temp sensor(s) on a 93 yj 4.0?

the stock temp guage doesn't work, and I've been trying to track down the problem. I have pulled the guage and checkd it, and it functions properly. I've also checked the sensor in the waterneck, and the resistance through it drops as it should as the temp rises. I'm was thinking the problem was in the wiring someplace between the sensor and computer, or between the computer and guage. well, I started looking for wiring diagrams, according to a couple of the diagrams, it looks like the guage reads off of a different sensor than the computer, so I was wandering if anyone happened to know if there is in fact a second temp sensor, or is the diagram that I found wrong?

The sensor for the gauge is on the back driver side of the block, right next to the corner of the valve cover.

The sensor for the CPU is on the neck.

As stated above, the temperature SENSOR is at the thermostat housing. The temperature SENDER is at the driver side of the head right next to the valve cover.
