Did some work on a buddy's '95 runner which included removing the batt cable. When I reconnected it and put the key in the ign to start, the flashers come on and it won't start.
It seems removing the battery triggered some ubergay security mechanism that prevents it from starting until you reset it somehow.
I've googled, googled pirate, looked at autozone repair guides, searched yotatech and didn't find any helpful info. I was pretty surprised that an hour of searching only yielded a couple similar instances but unfortunately none had any useful info.
