Sheet of lexan, then paint the OUTSIDE. You will be really disappointed with how dirt sticks to lexan because of static electricity.
It works good painted though. It doesn't vibrate like aluminum does.

And that might be??? (Where?)

Is it transparent? (Colored)

Is it Lexan (Polycarbonate) or Plexi-glass?

You can buy Purple Plastic in rolls from www.speedwaymotors.com. They use it on stock cars for skirting and air dams and such.

Can you weld it? For those who don't know, I'm not joking, there are weldable plastics.

Just saw this thread, was going to recommend UHMWPE sheet... same stuff most guys use in rod form for body lift blocks... lots of colours, strong as all hell and slippery too... I've used it on boat trailers for slipper pads and on bottoms of bins that get pushed around smooth concrete floors...

UHMWPE = Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene

So it should be good on rocks :)

Don't forget to post pics
