after wheelin my rig for a few years spring over and 31's i decided it was time to do mods YJ's with SKY's kit toy axles powersteering and 33's everything has gone smooth til my front drive shaft i had the idea to shorten the rear shaft from my donor 83 toy measured well fits well. the problem is that it is too much of an angle to operate at all i need some advice on what to run for shafts in front or what do you guys run this setup seems to have gobs of travel just need a little direction thanks xmattx:rolleyes:

I have a long slip double cv shaft in my front . I tried to run a single ujoint on each end and it vibrated bad. You may try to run a toy front cv shaft just have a longer tube put in and clearance the stock cv to get a few more degrees of droop or take the cv off the toy shaft and make a square driveshaft cheap and easy .

Rockrat transmission bracket and cut the crossmember out. This was the only way I could get the Toyota CV driveshaft in the front to work for me.

I'll second that I forgot about the crossmember.

angles are tough on these - you will have to really concider crawling in low range in 4wd- with some vibs- and us a non c/v set up 85 and newer toy stuff-the c/v will not hack the angle and live- Jess
