Hey guys i would have tried to search but unfortunately its disabled.

My problem is that my linkage for my mechanical clutch that is wedged between the engine block and the frame keeps popping out. this is the first time i have ever had this problem. But i have had it happen to me 5 times in the past two days of wheeling. i was wondering if anyone else has had to mess with this before? and how they fixed it. i would like to go hydraulic clutch but i dont have the money for a kit and i am unsure of what i need for it off a slavage truck.

any help would be much appreciated.

Have you checked your motor mounts? And the tranny mount? If you break one of these, it will let the engine torque over until the linkage pops out.
You also need to make sure the bushings are in good shape in the linkage.
Just start looking for a parts rig or ask around here for someone parting out a hydraulic clutch rig and convert over when you can.
Good luck.

the plastic bushing inside the clutch are was the issue on mine. if you goto Ford they are sold as 1/2 shell and you need to get 4 halfs to make both side or contact LMC truck they got them as well....mike
