i have my 89 wrangler rolling chassis and previous owner cut around area of the steering box and tube up front wondering if that threw it out of square it needs a little help im wondering if there is a way i could fix it i have a welder torch and other goodies

do you just measure from corner to corner to check a car frame thats how i was taught for trailer frames

any help would be appreciated
