I have a f350 With a v-10 and i put a flowmaster on it That i had around the garage and it did not have the sound i thought it would so i figured maybe it was a 3 chamber, so i went and bought the 4oseries 2 chamber cut of the old one put the new one on and still it was just not what i expected, the flowmaster on my jeep sounds so much better and its a four banger i just dont get it????????? Has any one else ever had this problem? any help would be appreciated.

maybe its on backwards... what size pipe are you running?

v10.....like 4 bangers and 6 bangers sound gay as fawk.

put something as quiet as possible on it. they are annoying.

how is it mounted in the system?

how much crap is before it and pipe after it??

the more pipe after it the more it will kill the sound.

if you really want the sound to come out mount it as close to the motor as you can and just use 90* elbows to dump out the side in front of the rear tire.

you dont need fancy tips or funky triple bends just a 36" long pipe with a 90* bend and point it out the the sides.

v10's tend to sound like shit.

every hear a viper or the srt-8 1500? they sound like atomic vacuum cleaners.

Funny you say that, I was just thinking bout ripping the exaust of my excursion (v-10) and throwing on some BB Flows that are laying around. The Gibson and Borla sound Good in the v-10's:confused:
