can any one tell me some thing about a 86-250 dissel ,
it is for sale and just not sure about it. What kind of
dessel it is it is ford blue ,, runs loud, it is a 4x4, 4 speed just
would like to know a liittle about what type of things
i should look to have go wrong with it

yep 6.9's throught 87 stock. 4 speed manual is a NP435 most likely maybe a t-18/19.

It is a smalled bored 7.3. Will last longer also if taken care. Not as likely to have caviation like a 7.3. Almost all the parts froma 7.3 will bolt up including the turbos

any one know where i can get some kind of book on this thing ?

Those 6.9 last years apon years.
They don't make enough power to brake anything.
But it will tow at 50MPH all day long.

Transmission is a T19, won't be anything else unless it has been swapped.
A 6.9 is a good solid, dependable engine, biggest issues on them are air leaks in the fuel system due to old rubber hoses and o-rings cracking, that's about it tho.
Don't expect to win races with it as a N/A engine, but, it will get you there.
