Coils have the potential to flex more. My question is why bother with all the hassle to convert to leaves?

depends on what you are looking for performance wise, if you want flex, go with the coils, if you just want to mount the axle for simplicity go with leafs, but IMO you already have the coil spring setup, and this is a better setup IMHO, so that is what I personally would stick with, but its just a matter of opinion, you are going to have to do more work if you convert to leafs.

If you are going to a dana 60, try to get one from a 78 or 79 because you will be able to use the tapered wedges from the dana 44 housing, or a custom 60, not sure which route you are going, good luck either way, and post up some pics.

i agree with jrod use the60 with coils. jeff`s broncograveyard sells the wedges u need and then the stock radius arms work. a few buddies run the coil sprung 60`s in their broncosand it works great!! just watch out for the exhaust/headers on the pinion yoke. look for the outside the frame rail headers if they will fit your application. good luck
