Is there any reasoning behind wanting to do so? Have you had problems with your current setup?

What exactly did you break on the 44? What were you doing when it happened?

It's possible, but much easier to stay with coils, plus it's a much better suspension setup.

Did you mean stay with coils?

well it a long story on how i broke it but i broke the ends off like the axle tube but to make a story short beer+bighill+speed+bigair=broke axle would a dana 60 bolt right in because its dosnt have holes for the coils ???? i need to fix it kwick cause i have a mud bog race sooon:grinpimp:

no it won't "bolt right in". What year of axle are we talking about?(D60) If its a 78-79 you will be able to install the coils back in it, with a little work. If its a new 60 with the shorter short side axle it would be best to do a leaf spring conversion. Just my .02c
