There is a Huge Dodge dealing in Oregan. I think they are one of the biggest in the US. Anyone know the name?

Dishman Dodge in Washington had the best deals. Big Bob deal is $1k below factory invoice on CTD's. Also Dave Smith motors was close at $500 below. Be careful because there are smog differences. All Cali trucks are checked while only a percentage of the others are checked.

I used these prices to get a semi-local friendly dealer to match them. I had to drive to Petaluma, but that was better than Washington. I just told him I was ready to take a ride to get a truck in Washington and he matched it.

Ron Tonkin in Portland? That's where my '00 2500 CTD was purchased. Can't say anything about their service dept - truck left OR shortly after purchase.

you're probably thinking of Dave Smith in Idaho, the largest in the world according to them. www.davesmith.com

That's it. Just called them. 06, 4-door, big horn package, 4x4, cloth is $33K
Doesn't seem too bad.

Sounds about right. Mine was $41.5k MSRP and I got it for $32.2k.

Did you ask about the Cali emissions?

That's from Peteluma? Good deal!
I did ask. He said it has the CA stuff. Does Dodge still have the 0% APR deal?

That's the first time I have ever heard Dishman referred to as the best deal. Dishman was always the worst Spokane had to offer....bad markups, bad salesman and bad service.

Dave Smith is huge. I would honestly estimate that half of the town of Kellogg Idaho is a parking lot for Dave Smith. No idea about their service department. I've had a lot better experiences with them though.

Dave Smith was $500 under invoice. Dishman was $1k under. I did my homework and had the salesman's name and knew to ask for the Big Bob deal. He just laughed and said $1k under invoice. This was in March.

Woodhouse in Blair,NE and that Dave Smith are apparently the two biggest.Woodhouse was fighting very hard to be #1 back in December. They had some killer deals. My neighbor bought a new 05' {in December} 3500 Quad Cab 4x4 dually loaded except for leather for I believe he said $27,???. Another guy here got his 05' Quad Cab 4x4 loaded except for leather for
$26,??? Kinda out of your way but others that are closer may be interested

Well, that's cool. I'm glad it worked out for you, and you don't have to go to them for service :grinpimp:

Living in Spokane for many years, I refuse to give them any of my money. They supposedly got better after they got some competition in Spokane, but for a long time they were the only Dodge dealer in town. You had to drive to Seattle for a good dealer, or to a little known guy in Kellogg Idaho who advertized $500 over cost on any vehicle.....

They all are the same. Only Cali trucks are ALL emissions tested. Fed trucks get 10 tested per 100 or something like that. Shows Cali emmisions on the sticker.

I stopped doing out-of-state registration research there when I found the same deal in state.

I can call the guy and ask him if he wants to sell another truck.

Lol, yes they do own that town. Half of the town is "Dave Smith" parking.
Anyway, that is a big +1 on the hotel and transportation. They move a lot of vehicles, and are willing to go the extra mile.

You might also ask about having it shipped to you. I know they do some good deals on that front.

Just FYI, my sister oddly enough bought her 05 2500 4 door HO Cummins with a 6 speed through Costco. She did it over the web, had a dealer call her and confirm the details of what she wanted, then call her when they got it in. All she had to do was go sign the papers. If memory serves she paid 34K for it and was by far the easiest dealer experience I have ever seen.

Woodhouse is the largest Ford dealer in the country. I think they are a bit behind on the Dodge stuff except for Vipers. I work at Dodge so I have access to the numbers. I thought at one time it was Earnhart Dodge in Arizona? That could just be parts though.

X2 I've never had them price a CTD but I did have them price out a 04 Taco and it was 3K less the dealers sticker which was even less then what 2 hours of haggling got me. I never bought it because they were only going to give me 21K for my 18month old CTD.

Give costco a call, its aleast worth a call. Since they do all the work for you basically for free and in a few hours.

I take it you already know about the 7500 mile title transfer polocy on new out of state purchaces.

Good Luck, Search the Show us your tow rig thread, there's a guy on there who claims he got a new SLT QC, 4X4 CTD for 29K OTD ay Folsom Lake Dodge. Maybe he will chime in.

$32k was for an auto longhorg truck. A 6-speed is $1K less and how much is the LH package? $2K. I can see how $29K is doable.
i do like th LH package :)
