I have a 1985 ford ranger and im upgrading my ttb dana 28 into a ttb dana 35 from a 94 explorer and now that i have everything off, i mightas well change my suspension. i have a 4" rancho suspension in the front but i want more travel because my coil has a strap and that eliminates my travel what do u guys recomend?

Coils for an early Bronco (or XJ/ZJ Cherokee). Depending on the weight of your truck, you'd want something with a spring rating around 250-325lbs-in.

Check out www.therangerstation.com. There has been tons & tons of discussions on Ranger/Explorer/Bronco II suspension upgrades for flexing/crawling (all while on the cheap too).

Wild horse EB coils..for a 4in lift I'd get their 5.5lift coils..the rangers are a little heavier and it compresses them a little...

I put 3.5 coils on my 96..and it rode WAY better..:smokin:
