Anyone have any expierence with Goodyear's Workhorse Extra Grip tires in a load E tire (3400 pound rating)?
I put a pair on the back of my F350 and they seem to sway bad with a load. I ran them at 65 psi and 80 psi and it's just as bad.
Thanks

For a traction tire, that is one of the best wearing tires I have had. Never had a problem with sway, I never ran them that full though. That was a couple years ago and things could have changed.

I've never had good luck with Good Year tires. Of the few sets I've owned, I've had tread separate, belts separate, and poor tread life.
I stick with Michelin tires on the tow rig.
Is the load on a trailer, or in the bed?
Did it start with thest tires?
If the load is on your trailer, has someone borrowed it that may have tweaked it?
Is something loose (lugnuts, bolts holding receiver hitch bracketry, etc?)

I agree. I haven't had good luck in recent years with goodyear tires. I won't own another set anytime soon unless a car I buy has them on it. I have had much better luck with the Korean made cheap tires over the last 5 years than I have with the major brands.
In your case since you already have the tires, how many ply are they? I have run across situations where tires have the same load ratings but fewer plies. They seem to be more squishy, much like what you are describing.

Historically, I've had good luck with Goodyears. Wore out 2 sets on small cars, and 2 full sets on my XJ (Wrangler AT/S and MT/R.)
I've got Michelin LTX M/S tires on my 99 CTD, and while they seem to handle well, I'm *NOT* happy with the miles I'm getting out of them. They'll be dead with maybe 55,000 miles.

They are a 10 ply I believe.... We're haul'n the camper to TX in a couple weeks and try with just the camper. I called the Goodyear dealer today and he wasn't able to give me answer but since we buy all out company tires from them I have to doubt he'll at least check into the problem and make it right.
