I'm going to paint my steering box before I install it this weekend. Does power steering fluid eat paint like brake fluid does? Just wondering if I need to get caliper paint or if I can use ordinary outdoor enamel.
Oh yea, is high temp paint needed for steering boxes?

Reality check aisle 3!
Nothing says love like Krylon.
Are you serious? No PS fluid does not eat paint like brake fluid.

I'm painting my power steering box not my pump.
Anyway, does anybody know if I need special chemical resistant paint or not?
