I'm getting ready to do my roll cage. I will run two tubes across the bottom of the cage to mount my seats in a 76 Blazer. Suggestions for seat companies? They must be reclining seats. I've looked at APC, Corbeau, Mastercraft, and considered junkyard Bronco seats. Anybody do this already?

I did two tupes that run across the floor from the passenger to the driver side. I used APCs and I like them alot. I drive my rig on/off the road and the seats are awesome.

They must be reclining seats.

That gets expensive.

You might look in a junkyard for MR2 or Supra seats.

We stuck a set of first gen MR2 seats in a toyota truck a couple of years ago and I was very impressed with how supportive they were.

UPDATE: Made my decision. Went with some seats off of ebay. The store is K2 ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAIR-UNIVERSAL-JDM-FULLY-RECLINABLE-RACING-SEATS-BK-BLU_W0QQitemZ300000481447QQihZ020QQcategoryZ33701Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and they are more of a import street racer store but I figured I'd give them a shot. They are called a JDM seat on the site, but they came with a receipt calling them a Bride. The quality is what I expected for only $265 for the pair including shipping and tax. I am debating on throwing some saddleblanket covers on them right away to prolong their life but the colors match my truck and interior to a T. I have a feeling they won't last that long, but for the money they will work for a while. They are just wide enough for me but if I was any bigger, no way. They seem to keep you locked into the seat just test sitting them in the driveway. This is good, but sliding out of the rig will be different.

You know, the more I look at these, then compare them to the Bride website, they sure aren't a Bride seat. A knock-off, but not a Bride. Then I compare them to an APC seat. They are similar, but slightly different. I found a forum where a guy claims that APC sent him an e-mail saying that the same factory in China makes them for APC and a whole bunch of other companies. There is no logo on them. I'll have to look more closely at the box and see if I can figure anything out. Anybody know anything more on these seats?
