I put a 5.7L Vortec in my FJ40, and it has just started to idle a little higher than normal. It idles like it should when cold, but once it heats up, after driving a few miles, the idle will go up 300-400 RPMs. I'm guessing at the RPM jump, don't have the tach installed yet. The motor is stock, and came from a '96 Tahoe 2wd.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Might be a bas TPS or IAC valve, Check those
