have and aod out of a ltd and do not remember what year it is from. how do i tell ? what should i look for?

what year is the motor you yahoo :D any way if its 88 or newer then its the good one it has better oiling for the rear shaft :D
should be a tag or stamp on the side :rolleyes:

i think it is a 88 but not sure. took the motor out last year and didn't think of saving any info on it. my bad. it is a 302. it there is no tag any other charateristics for a 88 or newer?

if i new the year of the motor i would know the year of the tranny. it came from the same car.
