ok i get petersons 4x4 and off road but the other day i saw jp magazine just for jeeps does any one know or subsribge to a landcruiser only mag.

Other than Toyota Trails, you might be SOL. HC gets the Venezualan mag Rutas, which features Land Cruisers alot. Doesn't work for me, cause my Spanish is limited to swear words and body parts. Australian Bush Driver might be the closest you will come.

Isn't there an SUV rag that has more cruisers than some of the others? I've heard it mentioned but can't remember the name. My Petersons subscription is running out and I'm interested in alternatives.

Four Wheel Drive and Sports Utility (FWD&SU) is by *far* the best of the big three in terms of Land Cruiser coverage. They have Cruiser tech articles every once in a while and more than their share of covers. They actually try, and I for one appreciate it. Four Wheeler is the *worst* in terms of Land Cruiser coverage.

There is an actual "Land Cruiser Magazine" but it's in Japanese. Lots of mall cruisers, but they have some neat vintage shots in almost every magazine.

"Rutas" is a Venezuelan magazine that's about 90% Land Cruisers, lots of expedition coverage, but it's in Spanish, and almost unobtanium in the US.

4x4 Australia, Bushdriver, Overlander and 4x4 Monthly are all Aussie commercial magazines that have a lot of Land Cruiser coverage. Most are available through international subscription (be prepared for sticker shock) and surface occasionally in some cities in the US (Phoenix was great for this).

thanks guys seems we get a way cool and "unheard" of vehicle other than this board many people think it's impossible or a complete pita to do the swaps i'm doing or finding parts. will have to check out 4fwd drive and sport utility.:D
