I HAVE A DANA 30 IN 1995 WRANGLER. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY KNEW WHETHER OR NOT YOU COULD PUT THE ONE PIECE AXLE OUT THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF A TJ INTO A YJ? THUS ELIMINATING THE ACTUATOR.

Hey newbie... you dont have a D35 front.. unless you own a ranger, with an IFS D35 front :flipoff2: Always check for spelling problems. Anyway. you can put TJ shafts in a DANA 30 front, but you will need a different axle seal. Then you eliminate the vaccuum. But since you can't tell the difference between a D35 and D30, do you really want to eliminate that vaccuum? Then your front shaft will spin all the time, and you will wonder what that vibration is :flipoff2:
Newbie.

i have a true trac gear driven limited slip for the 30. so the drive line spins anyway. i also have put a cv shaft up front. so i figured i would eliminate the actuater. with the cv there is no more vibrations either.

i removed the pump and engauged the sleve full time just so i wouldnt have to worry about it ever going out AGAIN, 2wd sucks, i never had any probs with the sleve breaking or anything, i think the TJ shaft would be a good swap, but i havent had any luck finding the right seal

they arent that hard to find.. the seals are identical as the tj axle seals.. the warn one piece kits sell the seals with it.. and the axle seals are identical.. geeze newbie

Plus all you genius's.. have you actually takin a look at how LARGE those two piece inner shafts are???? Yeah the joint is still the weak link.. but use your head.. and do a posi lock to replace the vaccum.. and get a passenger side inner and outer from a yj with abs.. they come with the larger joint.. or have a driveline shop order you one.. if they can order spicer parts... they can order the axle shafts.. just a little fyi:rasta: :rasta: :rasta: :rasta:
