Hey fellas. Could someone tell me for sure which body bushings to use for my cj. I have a new yj tub to drop on it so i think ill need a bushing kit for a yj becasue the bolts are different, right? Also, can i use the power brake booster and master cylinder from a yj on my stock cj calipers and drums? it does have new brake lines. The cj came stock with manual brakes.

It's been about five years since I did my body swap so I'll do the best I can off my feeble mind. I think I used CJ bushings because I already had some new ones,I'm not sure if YJ bushings have the same size mounting hole in the frame. If they do they'll be fine. I just bought new bolts,I think the CJ had 7/16 bolts and the YJ used 3/8.(or vise-versa). You may know this already but two body mounts in the center of the jeep and the two in the rear cross-member are in different locations. The center ones I drilled new holes in the tub and the back ones I welded some steel over and re-drilled the cross member. On the brakes there are some differences in the push rod length or something with the pedals I can't remember. I recall I ran into a snag and didn't take time to figure it out because I was wanting to get my jeep going again. I thought I would skin that cat another day and the cat's still going.
