Hello all I am a newbie to this list so feel free to bash away, Anyway I was wondering if any of you guru's out there new what the cfm was on a stock carb. I am toying with the idea of a carb swap on my brothers rig and it has to be cheap so no webers and such?

The stock Aisin carb (Canadian spec, 1985-1988) is either 180 or 160 CFM - can't remember - thinking more 180 CFM.
The screwed up Hitachi carbujector that you guys always got and then we got 1988.5+ would probably be in the same range.
Not an exact answer but close enough. You could always do the math and get the "exact" size you need. Do a google search on "carburetor size" or similar and see what you find.
