I am getting rid of some of my junk, what is a 14bolt SF\4.10 worth?

6 lug? or 8lug?
I would guess in 200 range?

It is 8 lug.

You would be far better off with the 6 lug version. Anyone with 8 lug (or going to 8 lug) will likely want the C14FF unless they are really sensitive to weight and clearance (and the FF is not that hard shave for significant additional clearance). The real mark for the C14SF is guys with 6 lug wheels they don’t want to loose, and front axles they don’t want to upgrade, but they want a stronger rear axle (maybe broke a C10?). The 6 lug versions go pretty quick and for fair money. 8 lug versions are only (mostly) appealing to guys who want a bolt in replacement for a lunched 8 lug C14SF; and many of them go FF. Honestly, IMHO, good luck (honestly, not being a smart ass) getting $200 for an 8 lug C14SF. Maybe if you could find a set of 6 lug axles to swap in REALLY cheap, it would probably make it easier to move for decent money. Just got to make sure you get the axles cheap enough to pay off (and that they fit, I'm not 100% sure but I think they do).

I bought one 6 months ago for $125 in Pennsylvania. All of the junkyards here in Michigan were asking $500-$900.

A junkyard will charge you more for a gov-lock version, but outside of that it's about an even price for gov-lock and open.

I think that they are pretty good: comparable axle diameter and ring gear size to a Dana 60, only semi-floating. It only makes sense to have an intermediate step between a 10B and 14BFF.

And yes, I was buying it to convert to 6-lug. I found shafts for $90/each new, but junkyards wanted $150 each. Drums are about $80 new.

I paid $200 for a 14ff and 44, eight lug and he threw in a 60 from an old Ford truck.
