Does anyone know how hard it would be to swap a 3.2 or preferrably a 3.5l into my 92 rodeo 5sp/3.1l? I need power for the highway and anyone who has this 3.1 knows how much it sucks to drive on the highway.
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Path of least resistance is to go with a 3.4 chevy engine. Its a popular swap with the 2.8/3.1 crowd.

out of like a S-10? that makes sense since the 3.1 is a gm, i was hoping to stay away from gm... Is there a write up somewhere about this?

Search on 4x4wire for better information from people that have actually done this (I saw that you posted on there as well). IIRC, certain Camaros had the 3.4; wasn't aware of the S-10s but they may as well. The Hombre is all Chevy with Isuzu badging (same as an S-10/Sonoma); so don't expect much love there. 4.3's are a 90* engine. The 3.4 should be pretty much drop-in minus moving the starter if memory serves me correctly... but memory may be way off; so just search on 4x4wire.
