Not for you but for me. I was just given $200 bucks that no one knows about, (wife). Is it right to spend said money on my rig?? The money money was given to me for my hard work. Of course the money could help out at home, with bills and the like. But I real want some swamper, lock-rite, or a snorkel.

So what should I spend this Free Money on: Used Swampers, Lock-rite, ARB Snorkel, or The Home??

tell your wife that you got $100 for something you worked on and that you would like to split it between your project and taking here out to a fancy dinner. Then when you are out to eat don't be afraid to spend the full $100 (get her some flowers). You'll be her champ for spending the "truck money" on her, and who cares if you have a little secret truck fund started.

I don't see the problem - you didn't get $200 cash, you got $200 worth of free truck parts for your extra work, no reason not to tell her. She'll be happy for you. Take her out for a $40 dinner to celebrate your good fortune. :D

She actually likes to do a lot of stuff I dont, the other day she rhino lined the entire bed of my tub, she was glad to.

I would never get involved with a woman that lets me spend my money. I spend mine when, where, and how I want to. Tell her you scored 2 hundie for working your ass off and that you are gonna buy yourself some hard earned accessorie for your rig. If she can convince you to spend it elsewhere than thats your decision to be convinced and go along, otherwise tell her that she had a okay idea but the timing is wrong. I agree that i would take her out somewhere for fun. I mean thats part of getting married is it not. To do fun cool stuff together.

If I told my other half about all my extra $$$, then I wouldn't have this computer, a 4x4 with a SAS, another 4x4 to tow the other 4x4 with,a BBQ grill, guns, guitar,etc. I would have put it into all the stuff that like her bunny collection ( she has every type known to man except a dead one in the freezer ), kids (which I don't have or want...), and worst of all...... having to obey her parents wishes because they said It was the right thing to do (and I would be their puppet....) fawk that ! :flipoff: Its bad enough when they think that 4 wheeling is an insane act, that I am a redneck (blessed) and I don't eat lamb, That I don't drink Micalobe (?) or MGD (I am partial to bourbon, preferably crown royal )and think I am disturbed because I like a little private time to read and play music (again redneck...). Sherrie tells me don't do this or don't do that 'cause her parents will find out (shes 36 years old) Just wait until I come home with a Harley...
