How much is a fair price to shorten a Rear D60 housing with cutting tubes and shafts and resplining (going from 69 WMS to 59 WMS).........I know most here do it themselves but if you were to send it out what is a fair price in your area?

makes a diff if it's FF or not on whether it's possible to shorten the axle shafts as some taper down right after the splines. you might or might not be able to shorten the shafts you've got.
so, just to get your axle shafts cut off and resplined is $50 each.
or like $350 for a new set of 35 spline shafts.
then someone to chop the spindles off and shorten the housing and align/weld the spindles back on and tell you how long to get the shafts cut or make the new set. the cost of this all seems to depend on who ya know and where ya live ... good luck.

just weld up 14 bolt axles and re drill the outer holes and wack off and respline them to fit your 60..... it should run about $50 ea to spline and $60 to weld up and drill new holes
Housing should be about $150
If you have to spend more than $50 for a FF 60! your getting :flipoff2:
