My toyota pickup one does not have enough travel now that I have put on these super flexy wagoneer springs. I jacked up the front bumper till the hood was over my head and the tires were still on the ground:eek: This is when the driveline fell apart:(
The front driveline currently has a 4.5" slip yoke (stock cruiser one was about 3") that came off the back of a toyota pickup. The other end of my front driveline is a 1310 cv that goes onto my NP205.
So...how long of a slip yoke are you using?

I have a toy truck shaft as well. Talk to Jess and have him set you up with a longer slip shaft for you existing shaft.
Do you have the specs on those springs? How wide? How Long??? Pin location??? I have been thinking about softer springs for beaker.....hhhmmmmm

I run an 11" spline Tom Woods shaft......7" "std" size would not be enuf. It uses the smaller pattern yokes and 1310 ?? joints I think.

Just an additional question to this but is there anything that came stock at all with a 11in slip? I have only heard of the 8in slip in the 80 bronco fronts. Or is it a custom bend me over and skip the reach around do it dry type purchase?

Sean, could you post the specs on the waggie springs...I can't remember them at the moment.
As for sources for these kinds of drivelines...I can only think of two (Woods and High Angle) are there any others?

about 12 inches on my shaft....
Jeff
My front shaft has a 12" slip, Arizona Driveline(Gloeco Inc.) I too, run waggy front springs on my FJ40, and yes they flex like mad. Don't even try changing a tire with a highlift unless you have a ratchet strap. you'll max out the jack before you even get a tire to come off the ground. ;)

Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably have to go with a 12" slip. Those springs do have some insane (for regular springs) droop.
Sooo....which company made your drivelines? (Arizona, Tom woods, Jesse at highangle etc)

Very few decent driveshaft shops can't make a long-spline shaft. I like my Woods shaft, Jesse will serve ya well from High Angle, and even my "local" CatCo is getting into creating custom long-spline shafts. It's not fandy technology, it just depends on what shop you trust.
IMO, Jesse for this PBB support or Tom Woods. Tom gave me excellent service on mine....ordered on a Monday, delivered on Thursday. Bolted right up, no problems.
