A buddy of mine has a CJ7 360/400/q-trac. Originally it had the offset qtrac rear axle. He swapped in a centered rear and obviously the driveshaft won't line up. He got a D20 case to replace the qtrac unit, will this work or is an adaptor needed? If so where can one be had or what would anyone suggest? Thanks

if memory serves you do need and adapter, and I would call advance adapters, they have everything I have ever looked for pretty much

Yup, an adapter is needed. I prefer Novak.

I don't know if its included in the adapter kits, but you'll need a new output shaft for the 400. The one for the Quadratrac is different than any other output.
