anyone swapped in an older AW4 into a TJ?

I've been looking for a 99' or newer AW4 but they're not easily found, I have found an older 90 that setup for manual shift and manual lock up. I'm concerned about the wiring. Is this doable or an I just asking for to much trouble and headaches?
