'92 XJ, 4.0, AW4. A few weeks ago, I managed to blow one of the lines going from the trans to the transmission cooler. Thus, the transmission ran out of fluid and wouldn't move. It probably ran for no more than 15 miles like this, and most of the way was coasting back down the trail I went up. Fixed the line at the bottom of the trail, put more fluid in it, and it seems fine, except... once in while (maybe once a day, if that) upon starting from a stoplight, the transmission will "slip" and then lurch forward. It feels like dropping the clutch in a manual. After that, it's totally fine. Seems to do it totally randomly too. Fluid level seems right on the money. Any ideas?
