I got a call today about a cruiser that was getting crushed. I was told the hood and fenders were good. I had the guys bring it by the shop, and bought it on the spot. I am not sure what I will do with it, it could be saved, but it could go for parts alot easier.

fj45lv25985 It has some of the stuff I am missing for my first 45 wagon, and tons of stuff that I have seen others hunting so it may be getting parted. I am finishing the new shop before I do anything with it.

Everyone needs to keep an eye out. I have been fooling around with 30's-50's cars/trucks for awhile, and it is amazing what is in the fields, and woods.

yeah I was shocked. I was not at the store when the guys droped the 45. I got back to work and my guys had tarped it. I knew what it was as soon as I laid eyes on it. It is rough, and not worth much more than I gave for it, but it IS a 45 wagon.

It was kind of like the time I went to look at the 1979 fj40 that was in the local paper. It turned out to be my 1979 fj55 wagon. Wagons are more my style as of late. Hell my daily driver is the lt1 powered fj60.

lower tailgate is about the only body panel that is not usable. It has one taillight lens (left side). Good taillight assemblys, great dash, rough doors, good roof, ok frame, good fenders/front clip, ok cargo panels, no seats, good glass. I am just happy it is not getting crushed.

My vote is to not part it out. Let someone or yourself make a project out of it. I need parts....but not from that has most of it's parts in tack.
