I need a new master cylinder for my '96 GMC Z-71. I am planning on going to a 14FF in the rear with disc brakes sometime soon. Should I get a better master cylinder then the stock unit for when I do have the discs on the rear?? If so can I do it with no problems to the stock brake setup for now?? What kind and where do I find a good one??

Have no clue about the newer IFS trucks, but when I went one ton on my 79K5 (Dana 60 front, 14BFF rear), I kept and am still using the stock 1/2 ton MC and booster. Stops extremely well.
