: Beat orange cruiser upgrades

Time to upgrade my old school FJ40, removing the narrowed 60's for a buggy project... in the meantime I wanted a rig to wheel, so in goes full width 14 bolt and HP 60, linked with 14" Fox coilovers WE wheels and a new set of 39" stickies:cool2:

I have a few pics for now... more to come.:smokin:

You are alive!!

I love that Cruiser. I am so glad it is going to live to see the trail again. I would love to have one just like it when you are done with it.

YOu gonna cut that rock hanging front bumper off while you are at it?

Front bumper and 12k warn for sale, I have a new short drum Warn for the front.

It's been too long, business is good again... so I have some extra milk money:laughing:

I'll get a few more pics up soon, steve sharp (yellerblazer) is doing the work... since I'm a hack:shaking:

Next up bumpstops and plumbin' the rear breaks...

Too bad I'm technically challenged with the camera and pics.... I guess I'll stick to bendin tube and making pretty blue light.

The cage is mounted to the frame in four spots in the back, it's not mounted to the body except in front, it's also tied into the frame there as well.

Still need to rework it some to make it look right.

cool. it was hard to see in the last batch of pics at first. i bet driving it after all this work has been done to it will be like a whole new vehicle.

we went from swampers to iroks on a buddies buggy and were amazed at the performance difference. going to the crawlers should make a huge difference in itself, nevermind the suspension mods....

I can't wait to wheel this thing, really excited to see how it works and rides compared to how it was.

put some webs where that link tower meets axle . Not that your work does not look tight , just refer to Nolen's breakage in AZ. Granted it is not a portal but stil gets alot of twist and small gussets = cheap ins.

Go south outta Clayton towards State Park.

Turn left on Nine Pines Road (believed to be the first paved road on the left south of town).

Turn right into Indain Mounds Campground. Sign is small but it's there.

Owner is Jess Johnson and phone number is (918) 569-4761.

I believe that these here are the coordinates for Indian Mound Campground:

Yeah, I did the kingpin front this time... I still have my narrowed B/J front it served me well and will be reused.
