wheelerpeeler 07-04-2006, 04:04 PM look in summit racing for some convertion headers for your 350 www.summitracing.com
Filthybeast 07-04-2006, 09:55 PM If you run out of header options, you might consider a Sanderson manifold at http://www.sandersonheaders.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_23_35&products_id=67

LilRocky 07-05-2006, 03:35 AM 1) You sure as hell didn't search much, did you.. This exact topic was covered a day or two ago.. you could have found the thread on the next page. (Try looking there now.)
2) Unless you're dragging the thing, the best headers aren't headers. Slap on a pair of ram's horns and be done with the nuisance of headers.
3) Your mounts are looking a little cheesey.
BigWheelBob 07-05-2006, 05:34 AM We always use Hedman headers. They have them for the Cj, and Yj swaps, and they sweep rearward, and fit good.
1973CJ5350cid 07-05-2006, 08:26 AM The block hugger headers like Lomax posted worked great for me. They kick out ALOT of heat though. I ended up wrapping mine in heat wrap to help keep the underhood temp down.
KJMac 07-08-2006, 01:50 AM I have been told `70's corvette headers work

LilRocky 07-09-2006, 01:36 AM Manifolds. Originally made by Chevy, starting in the '50s. Now made aftermarket.
Here's a pic:

BTW, about twelve seconds on Google turned me up 243,000 hits for chevy ram's horns. You probably would have had pretty good luck doing the same.
.
C-rad 07-09-2006, 07:19 PM Get some summit or hooker block hugger headers works good with lots of room
frankenjeep 07-09-2006, 07:38 PM lil"di"cky there is no need for you to be a prick about this. these guys have a question and if you want to help ...help but you dont need to put in al the "btw"'s and shit just to prove you have a bigger d*ck than everyone else. These guys may not spend as much time online as losers like you. I bet they have lives outside cyber(loser)space.

Fawk off, dipshit.
This board is cluttered with shiat posted by lazy fawks that could have looked the crap up w/ a 10 second google search. Maybe next time this guy will try using the resources available to him, rather than asking a question he could have answered himself.
If you had half a clue about what this board is about, you'd understand that it's meant to be graduate-level work.... so it doesn't need to be cluttered up with kindergarten-level questions (or pre-school whines, like yours.)
(BTW, you spineless twit... You WOULDN'T come up in my face w/ crap like this, if we were toe to toe... so get lost.)
KJMac 07-10-2006, 02:28 AM Wow! Never fails, every time I get on this site to look something up somebody is always waisting space and making us read a response that turns into bitching and slamming. This is a great site but people try to ruin posts by ripping on poor craftsmanship, stupidity and How lazy they are. I may as well add that there is a bunch of "Bad-Asses" on here! Is this site about sharing info, talking rigs and helping out people in need, or is it about belittling and just talking shit about fellow members? No sense in getting your panties in a bunch over such petty circumstances, who is being Remedial??? Please try to be more positive so the forums are more enjoyable.
GeepRX 07-10-2006, 12:22 PM Ditto on the ram's horns.
And ditto on the bitching & slamming too. Pirate4x4 is known for being a great source of info.
Unfortunately it's reputation for bickering & general chest pounding is equally well known. :shaking:
:skull: :jeep:
botiejeep 07-10-2006, 02:07 PM Ram horns are a much better choice than the headers you have pictured.
82'CJ7 07-13-2006, 09:55 AM Thanks for the heads up....we are doing a 350 conversion and have been looking at different options. Never heard of the ram....looks good.
bigslik823 07-13-2006, 02:34 PM :D Hedman makes a header for yj and cj that is a block hugger style should fit they work good on my 95 yj there only about $160. :smokin: you always get the idea that some people are here to hurt more than help? as the search options are not up now.
offroad-dog 08-24-2006, 10:36 PM Thanks for the feedback on the different exhaust manifolds, as for the Flame? Whatever.....
